In Case of Guests
Things set aside “in case of guests” exist in a peculiar state: they are no longer part of everyday life, yet they preserve the possibility of a future event. In the work, found Soviet lockers become spaces of such anticipation. Foam inside them resembles fabric, while images of natural motifs and fragments of Soviet everyday life are applied on top. Blue tones of the locker interiors show through the images, recalling the sky.
